Advent Calendar Day 1 (A Little Late Because I Thought of it Before Having to Leave For Work!)

What a delightful idea this is. Dale is one of my favourite bloggers – warm, human, giving, talented, just a lovely lady – and for her to nominate Rochelle – the purple fairy blog mother – as her first blogger of advent is just perfect. Christmas has officially started.

A Dalectable Life

In the spirit of Christmas and the Advent Calendar that has been revamped and re-purposed in myriad ways, I have decided to do one of another sort.  Instead of taking one chocolate per day (or wine or whatever goodie is in vogue) or adding one item into a box to donate for a good cause (a very good thing, indeed) I have chosen to send a little love to my favourite blogs.

Now, this is a difficult thing to do as I am only technically allowed to have 24 entries.  However.  My blog, my choice.  There are 31 days in the month of December so, if I feel like it, I can send love to 31 blogs.  Or more.  I shall see.

I have pondered and thought and come up with a list.  It might change as I move forward and remember that I forgot ones that I love because…

  1. Hi Lynn, and I shall say to you as I said to Dale. It’s a brilliant idea, but no, I shall not emulate. Yet this is the season for remembering where we have been, and who we’ve met on the way. And it so happens I met both you and Dale at CampNaNoWriMo, back in April. It now seems like a century away! But I’m so glad I met you. For which I must thank Joy.

    1. CampNaNo has been lovely for that. I’ve taken part three times now I think and met lovely fellow writers each time, people I still love to chat with now. It’s been a pleasure to meet you too, Crispina, I always enjoy our chats 🙂
