He had been so charming, dark lashes batting the heat like ostrich feather fans.

He’d spotted her poolside in Sharm-el-Sheikh, seen she was different from her greasy countrymen, their boiled lobster skin, superior attitudes and inferior behaviour. He’d promised her authenticity – a true taste of Egypt and its people. Well, one of its people.

Now he was gone, along with the car, her money, phone, jewellery. She only had the flies for company, zipping round her, dabbing her salted crusted skin with their tongues.

Authenticity sucked.

    1. Thanks hon! Poor girl – wonder if she makes it out alive? I hope that lover boy might have dumped her close – ish to a tourist trail. I think he’s a thief, but not a killer. And maybe they’ll meet again some day 🙂

  1. Yes! You’re on form today! You’ve dropped some poor innocent girl into the middle of the desert with no water – you’d better hope your characters don’t come to life, or this lady will be coming to for revenge, because the Egyptian was just another victim of your pen 🙂
